Spirit Polyamide Paint Roller – Rough Surfaces

Description

Our Spirit Polyamide  Paint Roller is made of  polyamide fabric which is the premium fabric used in paint rollers. Essentially, polyamide is a highly elastic material which maintains the roller cover’s shape during usage avoiding any flattening out during usage.

Polyamide also has an unbeatable combination of high paint pick-up and delivery without any lint/shedding of fabric and with a tight construction with fibers locked into place into the backing. As with all of our roller covers, the backing of the fabric is resinated which ensures that the fabric does not bend or twist as it is wound onto the polypropylene tube that acts as the core of the cover.

The process of winding and bonding is done by dropping liquid plastic between the tube and the fabric which, on cooling, seals and locks the two, creating a fused lock between the tube and the fabric of the roller.

The Spirit Polyamide Paint Roller is bevel shaped at the end to enable corner painting work and the fabric is combed, carded, and trimmed to prevent loose fibers and to give a good shape.

This roller has a long pile nap which makes it ideal for rough and uneven surfaces.

As with any roller, use a tray with a grid to load up, ensuring that excess is taken off the cover before putting it to the surface to be painted. Our covers are a standard fit to any 9” roller frame, 4 wire, 5 wire or even economy cage-less frames.

This is a professional quality item for the tradesman and can be cleaned out and re-used regularly or stored in our Provinci Roller Keeper system which will keep your roller fresh and ready to use for up to three months, allowing the decorator to save paint and time.
