Description
Our Sprint Soft Finish Paint brush are specially made with long filaments that are shaped to ensure smooth paint release into tight corners. The Technofil® formulation used in the brush are flagged to give a perfect coverage without leaving any paint “tramlines”.
All our brush heads are hand made and combed up to ensure straightness before gluing. At Pioneer all of our gluing is done in temperature controlled rooms ensuring stability. Additionally we glue all brush heads over the ferrule ribs thereby providing a double lock that is then locked again during assembly.
Once the heads have been glued and the resin is properly set, they are then cleaned out with brush filaments being sanded, carded and flagged as the final step prior to steaming to shape, which ensures that the brush will maintain a tapered profile for precision painting throughout its lifetime.
The handle of the Sprint Soft Finish Paint Brush is made with sustainable hard wood birch which has been aged and then kiln dried in our ovens to reduce humidity and stabilize the wood. This is then machined to size and shaped before being smoothed and polished with matt wax which seals the handle to leave stable over the lifetime of the brush.
The wood used for our handles are FSC certified which means the wood is only sourced from responsibly managed and environmentally conscious forests.
The brush is available in 1 ½” and 2” sizes.

Excellent brushes. They really do save you time and money. I especially like that they both take and apply the paint well. No clumping, so the finish is always even. I don’t waste my energy or dollars on inferior brushes nowadays.
