Description

The Copper Bound Wall Brush, also known as the distemper brush is a traditional style paint brush used by Craftsmen before the advent of the paint roller. One of the advantages of this type of brush is that, whilst paint rollers have great coverage, their loading up abilities are quite low when compared to brushes and typically a surface will need 2 to 3 coats to achieve a solid finish.

With these wall brushes, the load up of paint is much higher, than any paint roller can achieve. With widths of 4” to 6” , a thick handle, and extra long filament these brushes can cover large surfaces such as walls in one coat alone. The Copper Bound Wall Brush is made with hard wearing solid round polyester filament which makes them especially good for painting rough exterior brickwork and secured with a traditional copper ferrule.

The handles are made of heavy duty wood which has been sealed for extra protection therefore the handle will not warp or bend.

Available in 4”, 5” and 6” sizes.
